The Winter Retreat is a one-day seasonally-based workshop combining thought, movement and food to nourish the mind, body and soul.
Winter can leave you feeling flat, cold, dull and listless. If you can’t get out of the city, then take some time out for yourself.
Enjoy seven hours of movement, meditation, fresh food and juices to bring you warmth and wellness all in the heart of the city. It’s a gentle, healthy and empowering way to restore your whole self.
Located in the warmth of a hot yoga studio, the Winter Retreat starts with an exploration of food and thought as medicine and the easy self-care rituals we can adopt this winter to keep us fighting fit. The afternoon program using gentle Yin yoga. We then relax into a guided “mental vacation” with meditation and visioning, leaving you to float home. Led by Dr Grace Lai, a fellow yoga lover, medical doctor and a trusted advisor on Brain, Spine and Mind care, the retreat will leave you feeling relaxed, nourished and inspired… without the inconvenience of packing a suitcase!
